Dave arrived to Malayaka House when he was approximately 8 months old. Dave’s mother is mentally ill and was living with him on the streets of Entebbe. Their living situation had become both unhealthy and dangerous, so the police had no choice but to intervene. They brought the baby to Malayaka House.

Dave has always been quiet and independent. He doesn’t smile a lot and he knows who he likes and who he doesn’t. One of our older girls, Juliet, has spent a lot of time with him and adores him.

Today, Dave walks and moves freely everywhere in the house, discovering a new adventure in every corner. He is sweet, gentle, and has a wonderful smile.
